Richter

Paul is a construction and real estate lawyer, specializing in construction law, project development, rental law residential and commercial property. In doing so, he works for construction companies, property developers, investors and governments.

Paul has extensive experience in contracting in the construction sector (DBFMO, UAV, UAV-GC, DNR) and litigates in construction disputes before the Arbitration Board for the Building Industry (RvA), the Disputes Committee and the civil courts. His advice is also frequently sought on the completion of property transactions (sale and purchase, lease and rent) as well as the development of real estate projects. 

Paul studied Dutch law at the Erasmus University of Rotterdam. He was sworn in as a lawyer in 2011. After graduating, he started working as a lawyer at the real estate specialist firm Van de Sande - Berndsen Advocaten in Rotterdam. He also held a board position within the Rotterdam Young Bar Association. Afterwards, he worked at EMR Advocaten in Utrecht. Since November 1, 2019, Paul has been working at Straatman Koster advocaten.

Paul is a member of the Dutch Young Property Lawyers Association (VJOJ).
