Straatman Koster has considerable expertise and experience in advising and litigating in the acquisition of land and land development, including:
- application of the Municipalities (Preferential Rights) Act (Wvg);
- expropriation law (at the administrative and judicial stages); and
- the Land Development Act (anticipatory agreements, development plans).
Straatman Koster has specific knowledge of the interface between private law and public law, such as application of the generally accepted principles of sound administration, competence agreements, the requirements and conditions to be applied in municipal land allocation, and so on.
In connection with land policy, Straatman Koster acts for public and semipublic authorities and businesses and individuals.
